Lea's Prayers and Postage

Dear Friend,

Does Old Glory still wave?  You bet she does!  Are Americans still making the ultimate sacrifice?  Yes and my son Sgt. Lea Robert Mills of the United States Marine Corps is one of the sacrifices along with many others.  Sgt. Mills was killed in action 04-28-06 and left behind a wife, mother, father, and brother who will forever miss him.  We have chosen to honor my son with a fund that is used solely for generating paid postage for all of the patriotic people sending packages to our troops.  Lea’s Prayers and Postage, Inc. has paid over $125,000.00 worth of postage since May 2006.

The requirement for us to pay postage is simply, a military overseas address going to a war zone.  We must have the postal receipt and a copy of the custom form for records.  This has enabled large groups, who gather goods, to mail more packages because the postage is taken care of.  Also a family on a military salary can buy extra for the next package.  These packages don’t just say, here are things you need, these package convey how much each warrior means to all of us.  The letters that are received from our troops say it all.  I can think of no better way to Honor my son than to continue to support his brothers and sisters in arms.  Your donation will be a gift of gratitude to the proud men and women putting it all on the line for you.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit corporation.  Should our troops be sent home and this service no longer be needed every penny will go towards helping the wounded and their families as they pay daily for our freedom.  Your donations can be mailed to Lea’s Prayers and Postage, Inc. 1203 Garfield Ave. Masaryktown, FL 34604.

Thank you in advance for your donation.  I personally promise to use every penny wisely for our troops.

Momma Dee Mills,
Once a Marine mom always a Marine mom.

C-130 "Angel Flight"
This video is about a song called "Angel Flight"... It is terrific. The song
is being performed with "effects." Listen to the words of the pilot and the
tower, and make sure you sit quietly and listen at the very end.. You will
understand why one of the singers said he would be glad to help with the
song.....if he could stop crying. This is beautiful. God bless Vets!

9-11-11 Ride To Remember

Their were over 600 bikes in the ride. It was amazing to look back and see a trail of bikes that went forever. A great crowd and everyone had a good time. Thanks to all the volunteers. We made enough postage to take care of the troops through the Holidays. I will be sending pictures of the ride.

On 9-11-11
we will be partnering up with Scootergoods Magazine to Remember where we were on that day.   We also want to remember all that have served, received injuries and the sacrifice of life to keep us free for the past 10 years from another such attack. We will do this with a point to point ride here in Hernando County.  The Sheriffs office will escort the ride so we can all stay together. Mount those flags on your bikes and cars. Scooter goods will be up dating in there magazine. We are looking forward to seeing that American Flag on the Hook and Ladder truck from Brooksville.

On going eventQuilt

The quilt was won by ticket  500177 Campers Holiday here in Florida. They plan on raffling this quilt again. The Maggie had her story in the quilt box and I will add Lea's Prayers and Postage raffle story. Perhaps the next winner will keep it going. It is beautiful but we want to just see how much good one quilt can give.

We have a beautiful hand crafted quilt to raffle. It was donated by Maggie Beck.  Thanks Maggie.

  The drawing was on 9-11-11.

I need to thank George Marshall for the fundraiser at Skinny's last Friday night. He stirred up the patriotism and made some money for postage through Lea's Prayers and Postage, Inc., for the troops. Thanks Quality Guitar for your donation with George on the Guitar that was raffled.
